1. Overview

Vitruve Care is our extended protection plan designed to give you complete peace of mind when training with your Vitruve Encoder.

While every encoder already includes a standard factory warranty covering manufacturing defects, Vitruve Care goes further — protecting you against accidental damage, wear and tear, and other unexpected issues that can happen during real training sessions.

2. Coverage Period

Vitruve Care coverage lasts for 12 months (1 year) from the date of purchase.

It can be renewed annually for continued protection. Coverage applies to the specific encoder unit (identified by serial number) registered at the time of purchase.

3. What's Covered

Vitruve Care covers accidental damage and functional issues that occur during normal use of your Vitruve Encoder, including but not limited to:

• Damage caused by accidental drops or impacts.
• Broken cords or mechanical parts due to regular use or wear.
• Damage caused by minor liquid spills or dust.
• Sensor or performance failures outside of the standard warranty period.
• Free repair or replacement (up to 2 times per unit per year).
• Replacement units may be new or refurbished, depending on availability.
• Shipping costs are free worldwide.

Vitruve Care also includes priority support and faster processing times for repairs and replacements.

4. What's Not Covered

Vitruve Care does not cover:

• Damage resulting from intentional acts, negligence, or misuse.
• Damage caused by unauthorized modifications, internal tampering, or disassembly.
• Loss or theft of the encoder.
• Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents) that does not affect functionality.

5. Claim Limitations

Each encoder covered under Vitruve Care is eligible for up to two (2) repair or replacement claims per year.

After the second claim, additional incidents may still be serviced at a reduced repair or replacement cost (50% of retail price).

Vitruve reserves the right to refuse coverage in cases of clear abuse, repeated negligence, or fraudulent claims.

6. How to File a Claim

If your encoder is damaged:

Contact our support team at contact@vitruve.fit with:

• Your Vitruve Care order number.
• The encoder serial number.
• Photos or a short video showing the issue.

Our team will review your request and confirm eligibility.

You'll receive return instructions or, when applicable, an immediate replacement shipment.

In most cases, claims are resolved within 5–10 business days after approval.

7. Transferability

Vitruve Care coverage is tied to the encoder's serial number and the original purchaser.

It is not transferable to a new owner or another unit.

8. Renewal and Cancellation

You can renew your Vitruve Care plan annually at checkout or through your account.

Cancellation is available within 14 days of purchase, provided no claim has been made.

Refunds are not available after a claim is processed.

9. Legal Disclaimer

Vitruve Care is an optional service plan and does not replace the standard legal warranty or consumer rights that may apply under your local laws.

Vitruve reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time. Changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
